Well the new UST 2.2 Rubber queens are now fitted!
Took Gas to get them inflated, but got there in the end.
Took them for a spin last night and they seemed quite good.
Running around 30psi at the moment, any suggestions on good pressures to work with?

Let us know how it works out, would be interested to hear how they compare to the standards (i.e. Nevegal, High Roller etc.)
30 always seems too soft to me. Run mine around 35+.

They seemed good last night, this weekend should give them a thrashing.
Constantly scared that they will deflate, or have gone down on the back!
Think i'll get over that with time.
The 2.2 is quite large, but not as big as I thought it would be from the reviews!
I could easily fit the 2.4's, but maybe that would be total overkill.
Looks like they could roll well enough to do the Kielder on too.
Dez... did the rampages all by track pump. Couldnt get the queens to fit that way tho!
30 actually seems quite high on these, sidewalls are very solid. Has a little bit of squish in it but nothing major
The 2.4s are huge and weigh a ton, so much that i wont fit them until im going somewhere that justifies a full on dh tyre.
I've got a rear 2.2 UST ghetto tubeless at 28 p.s.i. I could probably run it a little softer still but that seems the perfect combination of grip, comfort and rolling. the tyre has shrugged off impacts which have flat spotted the rim and loosened spokes, its a tough one!
Sounds good to me! Might drop it one or two and see how it goes!

I've got the 2.4 UST on the font, it is massive and does weight quite a bit but it does seems to roll well and gives plenty of grip. Thinking about chucking a 2.2 on the back (currently have a 2.4 UST Mountain King).
I run the front 30 and the rear at 35.
For tubeless I like a little less pressure personally. Mine are around 25 PSI (but that's on a 2.5)
The recommended pressures from Conti are ridiculously high - something like more than 40psi I recall.
I reckon about 30 on the front will be good - hoping the RQ are better than the Mountain King which I find pretty poor

i got my rubber queens on with a track pump....
I struggled with a track pump big time, think its coz they still had the fold lines in them. Half a gas can popped them and i set the pressures with a track pump.
Ill have a play with pressures over the weekend.
I had 2.2 MK's on there as standard and they were skinny and GASH!
Much happier now.
good tyres huh.. run my usts RQ 2.2 at about 20-25psi, found them a bit pingy feeling abouve that (on HT)
conti USTs on shimano wheels, no latex and on with a track pump, UST heaven )
I used 2.4 RQ's in the Alps for a week recently. Fantastic tyre.
I struggled with 2.4 MK's before, never really got on with them.

Cos I can invisage teddys all over the place when you cannot get the beads to "pop"
Do not forget your innertubes 
I'm using 2.2 rubber queens too, and I got mine up and running with a track pump, very easily (355 rims though).
Run mine at about 25-30 psi.

You get confidence over time. I'd start with 30F and 35R and go down gradually from there until they feel like they are squirming on corners, then go up a bit.
Salad's advice about carrying an innertube is sound.
the rubber queens are a good tyre i curently run mountain kings/rubber kings & race kings 7 they perform great but puncture all to often & the tread delapatates from the carcass 7 the sidealls are made of tissue paer 7 yes i have the german chilli version costing 3 times as much=ffolish.
but maxxis imo.
all though the race kings i would buy again.god they are fast.
Hmmmm, I want big "tublesss" logos on my tyres...All I've got is the UST symbol thingy...

2.4 won't fit in the rear of my Trek
Can you do me a favour and measure the tyre at it's widest point.
I'm contemplatiig a set of these but rear clearance isn't the greatest and an old skool maxxis 2.35" is about right.
