I’m after a new set of forks for a bike. I currently have 125mm Marz Z3 drop offs and want to change to a newer pair of Rock Shox as I like the idea of the u turn. So what are the main differences? Have I grouped together a similar set of forks here or is something sticking out like a sore thumb. Weight isn’t really an issue as the bike weighs a ton anyway, I’d also like to try a 20mm axle. Any thoughts on the above? and if there are other forks out there worth looking at please chime in. The bike is a trail centre special which I only use about a dozen times a year so I’m looking at second hand stuff.

Revs are the lightest – trail/XC
    Pikes are burly trail fork
Lyrik/Domain are heavier still and overkill for most UK stuff unless you like em tough or jump or are a biffer.

The Pike is not available new, replaced (sort of) by the Sektor.

Coil Pikes/Sektors are the obvious recommendation. Tough, uturn, 20mm, good trail fork
