Planning on getting the road bike out tomorrow after work to stretch my legs a bit, but don’t know the area where I’m working at the moment.

Has anyone ridden this stretch of Route 65 and is it tarmac all the way or more of a gravel surface?

Wondering if it’s a road or MTB job.

This may be too late – it’s well surfaced, about 50/50 tarmac and gravel I’d guess. My commute, when I can be arsed. I’ve done it on the roadie, I’ve also done it on the MTB with slicks. It’s nicer on the MTB.

Be nice tonight, very flat and straight (as you might expect). Whiteheads chippy is probably best, though Sullivans on the sea front is acceptable.
