    Hi All

I have just bought a couple of these for my little girls as Christmas presents but wanted to make them into ‘standard’ Android devices so we have access to the full App store – can anyone point me in the direction of any instructions?

    Cheers

xda developers forums is your best bet. IIRC Fire stuff is a branch off of Android, so they may not be able to be rooted, yet.

You’ll get arrested for that in Australia. Especially if you do it on public.

I’ve got 2 for the kids, haven’t rooted but have got playstore installed, look on the rootjunky website for the script, it also disables the lock screen ads…

I was looking for the Same thing. Not tried this method to vouch for it.
