    Just cleaned the bike and noticed a nasty rub / score in the stanchion coating 🙁

    Fairly upset, as the bike was only built up recently.
    What are RS / SRAM like for warranty issues?

    Good ime, but that may not be a warranty issue. Depends what caused it.

    Yep, damage != warranty necessarily.

    Hmmmm

    I do hope so. I expect more than one event from a pair of forks….

    If its not been serviced by a competent mechanic at the recommended intervals you may be on a sticky wicket

    Or you might find they forgot to put oil in at the factory which would be warranty.

    I was surprised to see in the warranty supplied with a Rockshox shock yesterday that stanchions are apparently considered a wear-and-tear item not covered by the warranty, so good luck – you may have to rely on Sale of Goods Act rather than the warranty.

    After one ride i`d take em back the shop you bought em from,and see if they can have a word with the importers (fishers).
