    Evening

My reverb has started sticking in the upright position. Needs a fairly hefty whack or bounce when seated to get it to drop. Then it’s fine and rises ok when released. But the same happens again when you need to lower it ( only when lowering from full height I should add).
Anyone any ideas on what I need do to remedy this? It’s not a major issue but I’d rather fix it now than do any damage.
I’ve checked the seatpost collar isn’t too tight btw as that was suggested.

    Cheers

Needs a bleed, same thing happened to mine.

A word of warning tho, mine imploded during the bleed process and had to go back to be fixed (under warranty gratefully).

Ahh , cool, cheers. Might get the lbs to do it, if it explodes they can then get it sorted ( I bought it from them ).

It was my LBS that did the bleed!

It does sound like a bleed is in order. If you decide to do it yourself you may be interested in our DIY Reverb bleed kit:
