Can anyone confirm if the oil seal should be positioned so the lip faces the bottom of the fork (i.e. stops oil from leaving the lowers) and also if it should be pressed all the way down in the enlarged section above the upper bearings.

Seal kit 4308.850.00 ? If so the oil seal (the black one) should have the flat surface with the numbers and letters on it facing upwards and should be pressed in to bottom of the appature.

Rockshox do a tool for this that makes life alot easier 4308.722.000
however it's do able using correct size sockets if your careful.
I'll be making a copy of this tool, when I get time, which will be available throught the Loco shop.
