I am just about to start a re-furb of my RL 853 and the seatpost is a bit tatty.
Currently using a 25mm USE Alien with a shim-i think the seat tube diameter is 28.6mm IIRC
CRC have a Racface Carbon one in the sale at £35 and am tempted by that but just wondered what others were using?
If anyone has anything nice they want rid of let me know.

Hmmm maybe my memory is letting me down a bit!!
Could have sworn it was 28.6 but had better check accurately.
If its 27.2 I have a Moots titanium that I also use on my Hummer that will go in nicely 🙂
Anybody know if the tube diameter changed over the years? Mine is a few years old now!!
