I have no affiliation to this story whatsoever other than just spotting it on Eddie Izzard’s Twitter feed. I know a couple of folks here have done volunteer work for them in the past so thought I’d pass on the message in case anyone was interested in helping.
On 2nd February the storage container at Roch Valley Raiders BMX club was broken into. 9 BMX racing bikes were stolen, as well as the compressor, helmets, tools and even the first aid kit.
The club exists to provide a place for families to meet and enjoy sporting activities in a supportive and friendly environment.
The bikes were available for all to use, and it is just devastating for the club that they have been stolen.
Any donations to help replace the bikes and equipment would be gratefully received.
