Running 25c bonty hardcases- the twin compounds- hard centre soft edges.

Really confidence inspiring in the wet – but last donkeys(10000kms on current set an nary a puncture)

How ever i want to go to a 32 or 35 as i find my self traveling on rougher paths to get away from traffic en route home (and the road around here look like the corrieyarrick at times,i run about 115psi in the back tire when i have my panniers on – and still feel like the drop kerbs are rimming out.

    – whats out there that long lasting and grippy- does anyone do a twin compound like the hardcase that is road orientated? – i know the standar answer is marathons but im looking or something a bit less harsh to ride and un treaded – i have marathons as well and the stiff carcass although puncture resistant even at low pressures doesnt give much comfort- te hardcases at 115 are a better ride !

A grippy compound version of the 26 inch x1.5 slick that conti do is what i want- fast rolling, high volume , non treaded but grippy – oh and in 700c please !

    Moon on a stick please

Anyone tried specialised armadillo all condition elite 2s .

700×32 with a centre rail for fast rolling and siped sides for wet grip rather than a softer compound (thats whats a torn up on my hardcase lites)
