I’m building a singlespeed urban bike from a lovely old road frame I got from the tip. I got various other parts for it too including brakes. ,

The brakes I got are centre pull, and the frame doesn’t have the rear bracket thingy you need to mount the cable stop.

Any clever way around it or off the shelf item? Or is it back to the tip to rummage for a side pull brake?

Loads of combined seat clamp and hangers available. Have a look at sjs cycles

As said, there used to be a bracket that bolted to the seat bolt which supported the cable outer.

Nice one folks. Thanks for that. I knew there had to be a simple solution 🙂
