I had a crash on Monday, just finished truing my wheels, one of my conti 4000s tyre got slashed, only got conti ultra sport to hands. Which one shud I put in the front? Opinons/wisdom/jokes? I cud just put two ultra sports on it I suppose.

Unlikely to be noticeable but I'd put the more compliant tyre at the back for comfort.

Ultra sports aren't exactly shite are they, just change the slashed one for a non slashed one and get on with it

i'd put the ultra on the front.

you'll get enough grip out of them both, but the 4000 will feel a wee bit nicer sat down i reckon

I'd always stick the newest tyre up front – less likely to puncture I reckon though I'll admit it'd make very little difference.
