My favourite bike holiday was with Riviera Bike. I must go with them again

Yep, went out with them 18 months ago. Very good. Accommodation was fantastic, trails lots of fun but very challenging. Head honcho posts on here as Nasher, I think.

Yep I went with them. Great local trails.
Are you taking your own bikes? I rented there's and regreted it.

I've heard conflicting reports, not to friendly guides and over hyped food. Also there not to sharp with replying to e-mails.
Did any of you do the freeride week( full uplifts) ?Posted 6 months ago # -

Yes to all of the above. But the riding and other guides were awesome. In fact the riding is better than awesome.
As for the food, it's genuine Italian, not your Prezzo/ASK fare. Lots of big courses of one type of food. I'm a veggie, so was a thorn in the kitchen's side.

I was there in September with 2 mates.
Locals are very friendly. Jo is lovely. I quite liked Adrian. Matt, I didn't bond with.
Hotel is basic but fine. Food was excellent the week I was there (wild boar, rabbit pasta etc..).
They could have been a bit better organised (a lot of hanging around waiting for the key to workshop to turn up) but there was a reason for that (guy from week before was in hospital (not bike related) in Nice and Jo was going to see him most days) .
The riding is excellent and we will be going next year with bigger group.

I went two years on the trot a couple of years ago and for me the riding was perfect. Really enjoyed it and would like to go back one day. Enjoyed the place we stayed as well. I would have no hesitation recommending it. Have fun.
When we were there the second year the other guests were guides from other bike companies going on a biking holiday! We did a snow to sea ride that sticks in everyones memory.Posted 6 months ago # -
Its the only place I've been back to (2nd time this year). One of my mates has been 3 times in 3 years. Absolutely fantastic. Yeah, there's a little bit of disorganisation and waiting round fettling bikes, but the sun shines all the time and its a holiday not an army camp right?
The riding is amazing, accomodation and food plentiful.
There is something for everyone to enjoy here, and Ady and Jo will tailor it to suit.
Highly recommended! (oh and it might take them a bit to respond to your emails but its worth it!)
