    Saw it on the news, very sad, he’s been someone who’s always been around in motorsports as far back as I can remember. A real sporting hero, and someone who’s always seemed to be a real gentleman with it.

    Top bloke. I liked Hailwood more for some reason but Surtees got the results.

    Jesus, I thought he was gonna live forever…

    Very poignant, having a family so late and then losing a son.
