  • Reverb Stealth 1mm play vertically! Normal?.

Fitted a stealth reverb to the bike, had 1 ride and just noticed it compresses about 1mm when you put weight on it. My old style reverb didn’t do this. I’ve bled the remote and checked air pressure, all good. Post works well apart form this 1mm of play, all most like a knocking when you weight it.
Wondering if any one else has this?.

    Cheers

They must be doing it so the Pikes don’t feel alone in having top out play…

Not just pikes my revs do it, unless I load them more than I want.

Bit of a thread resurrection here.

I have just got a stealth reverb, brand new, which knocks when I sit on it.
The return action is also nowhere near as smooth as I’d like and makes a bit of a scraping sound.

Anyone else had the same, if so what was your outcome?

I think this means the internal seals are damaged

‘Yes’ it is very normal on reverbs. ‘NO’ it shouldn’t be there. It’s a warranty job.

Def a warranty job, sent mine back and got a brand new one via bike-discount.de
