Reverb is slow to come up, even on fastest setting – it does come all the way up okay. Putting on a slower setting virtually locks it down

I’ve bled it and checked air pressure, so am thinking maybe it needs new seals?

    any ideas

    thanks

    Seat clamp too tight?

    Edit: seatpost clamp

Check your seat clamp is not too tight, does seem to have an effect on this problem. (as above)

    Seat clamp over tightened?

Edit – Beaten to it twice over.

You can get pills for that!

Check the bleed and also check the terminations on the ends of the remote hose. Easy to have a slightly loose termination and a small leak there.

Make sure you bleed it with the return adjuster in the correct position. If you get it wrong (either full slow or full fast, can’t remember) then the post barely moves when you push the button.

Bleed in full slow so that you can then screw the adjuster in to increase the pressure to get the fastest return rate. Highly likely to be the seat clamp though, especially if you don’t have much post showing out of the frame.

@ schwiz – you know (blushes) I think [/i]I may have bled it in full fast position 😳
