Reverb been fitted and hose miles of long.

I intend cutting the hose with hydraulic hose cutter to get a nice cut.

However, the speed adjust…I believe it had to be fully in one direction….can anyone guide me please?

    Thanks!

Speed adjust to minimum. So slowest setting.

Sharp Stanley knife does the job, MBR has a decent how to video on YouTube.

And should the post be dropped or not when I shorten the hose…or does it make no difference?

    Thanks!

Fully raised. Not sure it makes a difference, but that’s what I’ve done on two Reverb. Stanley knife does fine, or cable cutters that can do gear outers. Make sure you don’t press the lever and keep remaining cable held up to avoid spilling fluid, screw barb back on and you won’t need to bleed it. In my experience.
