Evening all,
Went out for a ride today and about halfway round my stealth reverb post has started to sink into the fully down position without pressing the lever.I did a quick search on here and know a common problem is the post sagging a couple of cms which a bleed can fix.Has anyone encountered this before?Before i go and spend £35 on a kit is it worth trying bleeding it or does it sound knackered and taking back to the shop.

Occasionally it can be fixed with a bleed but if yours is dropping the full travel I’d say keep your £35 and get it warrantied. I had mine serviced for £90 and it worked better than it did when it was new.

Have u checked the air pressure?

Thanks for reply nastybuller,yes checked air pressure and was registering about 180psi so pumped it up to max 250psi and no difference.

It will be a leaking seal common fault, get it warrantied.

Was it a hot day?

Was the button ‘rock hard’ (i.e. no free movement)?

Does winding the speed adjuster to slow help?

If no to the above, then it’s probably failed.
