  • Replacement pads for older helmets?

I've got an old Giro Hammerhead helmet, which is still in great condition, but the internal pads are a real state and falling to bits. I can find replacement pad kits for newer helmets, but can't seem to source a set for this older model.

Any suggestions for how to source a set or of a material I could use to cut out a replacement set?

    Thanks

Considering the recommended lifespan for a helmet is 3yrs normally, you'll be very lucky to find anything new.

You should replace your whole helmet if it's that old.

The pad's lifespan depends a lot on how often you wash them, you smelly boys. The helmet may not be that damaged or aged.
