  • Replacement for Mallet pedal?

I've just snapped one of the bars off my five year old Mallet pedals and I need to replace them. Should i be considering something similar/better? I want something that i can easily clip back into when powering out a of corner. I was thinking of maybe a Time Attack or Shimano DX M647 pedal? Any advice from users of these or similar bits?
I've already got some regular Shimano clipless and some DMR flatties on other bikes, so i know i want something clipless with bit more platform/ease of entry.
    Cheers!

Must be asking the wrong questions as no one has replied to any of my last few posts 🙁

p'raps the sunniest weekend for a couple of months, in the morning, is not the time for heavy traffic on the forum?
i saw your post earlier, but i have no viable alternative to mallets. i've tried time pedals but they don't offer the same ease of in/out as CB pedals ( despite what the proponents say ), so shan't be fitting them to the mtbs.
be intersted to hear how you get on with the acids.
