Any tips on best way to remove copter tape from a carbon frame ? Large sections were put on by previous owner and is now looking a bit tatty and in need of replacing.

Which frame is it? If it’s an On One, don’t… The finish is too weak, there’s a good chance it’ll come off in clumps with the tape. (the bikes are officially incompatible with helicopter tape!)

If it’s a higher quality frame, then hairdryer helps massively- speeds it coming off but also leaves less manky glue.

Argh-sounds a right pain in the arse. It’s not an on-one but a lapierre.Might just keep it on if it is a messy and potentially damaging process!

As NW says, get the Alex ferguson into it, you’ll be fine!.

Hair dryer and peel back along the frame instead of up.

I just pulled all minis off my lapierre then used nail varnish remover on sticky stuff. Then polished it up after. No problem with paint coming off
