Get my regular beans from Happy Donkey, the Classic Italian. Makes an espresso I like and isn’t too pricey. Delivery does bump up the cost a bit but they use DPD so don’t mind paying a bit extra.

Just tried the italian from happy donkey. Bought a hand grinder from them that was on offer and a couple of bags of beans. It’s nice .just trying to get the grind right.

After finding all the ‘modern’ roasts from places like HasBean far too sour in my espresso machine I’m now buying traditional dark roast coffees from Carwardines

The Seattle Special blend is current favourite. To get the unit price down after delivery is added on you really need to buy 2kg at a time but then it’s as cheap as supermarket Lavazza.

Wogan in Bristol half the price of Hasbean. Half kilo bag is the smallest size though. The organic espresso seems ok.

We go to Rosie and Java in Richmond. Just buy estate beans and grind when needed.

In Brighton; Redroaster in Kemptown and Small Batch Coffee in Hove.

Small Batch consistently makes the best Latte. (not V Redroaster, just the best full stop)

Both places grind including for Aeropress.

    At least one sells online.

    I think order £25+ and it’s free. I always buy a range.
