Anyone heard any? Are they sufficiently improved to justify replacing earlier recordings?

I've only got the stereo versions, but the early albums don't really benefit massively – a little crisper, but not greatly so, and they have the music from the left speaker, vocals from right.

The later albums (White Album, etc.) are greatly improved – much cleaner, crisper sound. You can pick up on subtle things you've not really noticed before.

If you like the later stuff, its worth getting them 😀

Depends on the album, but if you've already got them I'm not sure they are that much better that you can justify buying them again.

The early albums are probably better in the mono remasters, but those are only available in the eye wateringly expensive boxed set.

If you have your hi-fi cables turned round the wrong way you won't notice the difference. 😉
