Looking at building some 29″ wheels and wonderong about going for Duallys to future-proof on case I ever go for 29+.
But its unlikely that I will to start with, I’ll stick to cheaper smaller 2.3s or similar.
So, what are the recomended tyre/width combos these days? as the Erto chart seems a bit out of date.

I’ve just a 2.4″ Rubber Queen on a Blunt 35 (29mm internal width) and other than coming up *huge* they seem fine.

I’ll be putting a 2.2″ on the back and I don’t think it’s going to be too rounded on there.

folks on mtbr are all over duallys. Most of them are running 2.4/2.5 ardents, racing ralphs and the like and they havent died.

Hmm. Duallys and Knards will cost over £120 more than P35s and Ardents.
