Now I was going to abstain today!

ah! I was considering drinking some of the muck I’ve got left over from presents and unwise purchases but given it’s a celebratory beer day, I may have to buy something special.

I’ve had a week off the beers and was planning on breaking the drought today. Excellent news.

Sorry but I have just discovered Lidl Sour Mash Bourbon (£11.99 for a 70cl bottle) so I am on that tonight. It is surprisingly good.
