    Right my wordpress blog like many others uses a numerical structure for naming posts which is crap for google.

    I am wanting to change this so that it instead uses the blog pages title.

    So what is the syntax to change /?p=1 where 1 is any number

    (To be replaced with /%postname%/ )

    Have you looked at the wordpress info on permalinks?

    Yep I’ve seen that I’ve installed the redirect plugin to change my old posts to the post name and am unsure of the correct syntax.
