I have Rockshox Sektor R coil fork currently with 150mm travel.

I want to reduce the travel down to 100/120mm. Is it just as simple and buying a replacement coil of correct length and dropping it in?

Does the damping oil in the rebound damper need to be reduced to take account og the reduced volume?

Yeah, I had a 140mm Sector coil spring, easiest shock I ever worked on.
Buy the length travel you want (ebay)….and drop in the new spring, easy.

Deviant, got a link to what spring you used?

Just got a reply from TF Tuned who say Sektor uses a different coil to normal and lowest I can go is 110mm using the dual position spring.

But that might be the official line. Maybe an Argyle coil or similar can be persuaded to fit in the Sektor chassis?
