Me and the mrs are planning to get away for new year for the first time …. No real idea of where to go – just somewhere warm (or a relatively decent climate) seems to be the focus .. So, any suggestions?

I do believe there is a place on the other side of the planet where they celebrate christmas in shorts and t-shirts by the beach!

Cottage on the north Cornwall coast. Couple of crates of Doom Bar, a few bottles of Rum. And a log pile jammed to the rafters.
