If you like Peter Kay then Car Share was great. Recently been watching them again over Xmas and they are as good second time round.

Things that have made me properly laugh in the last year were –

    Detectorists
    Toast of London
    Catastrophe
    House of Fools
Brian Pern – a life in rock

Not all BBC and probably not all available right now.

Brian Pern was brilliant. New series coming too.
    Car Share was nice.
Catastrophe isn’t on iplayer, but also ace. More documentary than comedy.

You have been watching Matt Berry does….haven’t you? A good few minutes well spent, although they don’t seem to hang around long on the iplayer.

    Radio comedy is great.

Anything by or with John Finnemore.
    Bleak Expectations
    Milton Jones
    Think the Unthinkable

Loads of other stuff on 4Extra as well – just look at the schedule.

    I find John Finnemore unlistenable.

Milton Jones’ does my nut too.

Series 1 of Mighty Boosh is on there at the moment – worth a go. Also first series of Uncle – very good. Not on iPlayer right now, but look out for it when it comes back – People Just do Nothing. So so good. One of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. Otherwise, as has been mentioned, get yourself over to All 4 for Toast of London (series 1 and 2 v good – not watched 3 yet), Fresh Meat, Catastrophe (loses its magic in series 2) and of course Peep Show (bit marmite)

Wow, I know it takes all sorts, but seriously? His Souvenir Programme is one of my favourites at the moment.

You can still pick up episodes of Laura Solon : Talking and Not Talking, which I also enjoyed (don’t bother POOK :-)).

    I also enjoyed:

    Simon Evans Goes to Market
    Mark Steel’s in Town

Both fit into that category (which Radio 4 does so well) of shows that can make you laugh and make you think.

    People Just do Nothing

Is that the Beats and Grinder thing? I don’t watch a great deal of TV, but bumped into that and thought it had potential.

What was that BBC 3 thing set in the Afghan War ? Went downhill a bit, but the first series or two were well worth a watch (a sort of modern day MASH).

Crims is a good watch as well. And as Twang said so is Josh

Is Cuckoo on there still? That’s good.
    House of fools
Josh is ok, old school in a good way I think.
Catastrophe series 1 was brilliant. S2 was a bit close to home, so wasn’t as funny for me.

Love the old stuff on 4Extra.

Just had Hancock & The Goons on whilst I had lunch.
