Obviously both Mr Toast and myself are keen on biking, so we're looking to stay in the Hope Valley/Castleton area. So what we also need is…
1) Minimum of two bedrooms (obviously)
2) Secure place to store the bikes
3) Decent parking – cottage we normally stay at is nice, but parking is a nightmare with a bike rack on the back.
4) Seperate shower unit – my mother's a bit iffy on her legs, she's OK with stairs as long as there's a bannister, but getting in and out of a bath is out.
Last year we stayed in Castleton, but that was just me and t'mother – I was keeping my bike in the kitchen which was probably a bit naughty (but they did say, "Make yourselves at home"!), I think 2 bikes would be pushing it though!
