Looking for somewhere nice for a long weekend in October (40th birthday)
Needs to sleep 6 adults and 4 children and possibly a dog.
Preferably mid or North Wales.. But open to other suggestions

Would be nice to be near trails or trail centre..

Will be travelling from Pembrokeshire..

Im off this very weekend to an apartment block in betsy coed it has a six person flat and several 2 persons. Great if you like a bit of space to yourself. Any good?

Lakes is probably a bit too far with 3 young children but thanks..

So far the owners have been really helpful, and been sound to talk to via mail and actually on the phone. Any one who suggets booking an uplift day gets a thumbs up from me.

Very comfy, but a few years since we stayed.

Plas Talgarth 10 mins from Machynlleth,30 mins from CYB.
Good place for kids.

Torrent Walk at Dolgellau has a great bunkhouse

We’ve just stayed here with my folks so, 4 adults and 1 child plus dog.

Near Hay on Wye

Lovely big place with nice grounds and also has other cottages (barn coversions really) available on site too.

Close to Brecon Beacons for riding and River Wye if you fancy doing some canoeing. Walking distance to number of pubs and great cafe called the Bridge Cafe. It’s on the bridge!

logcabinwales. Very close to CyB and a short hop to others. Cheap and basic but nice enough in a good location. A bit like large static caravan. You’ll need two for your party but they have some next door to each other. I think there is some kiddy play stuff on site, too

North edge of the beacons. There was 14 of us. Loads of room. Great location. Tennis court. Wifi. Great layout.
Recommended.

Stayed here a few years ago, beautiful place on the coast, not too far from Cadair Idris.

Bar billiards table was a novelty!

We were completely lost in somewhere so large, but got it for a decent price so that was fine.

It’s a decent place to stay as a base, and can sleep a large amount of people but it’s not exactly ‘special’ or fancy.

Nice big kitchen, plenty of space, coin operated pool table, plenty of parking, almost on the Afan trails.

The photo’s on the website are a fair representation.

Wi-Fi was present and correct, but we could barely get any connection.

Well that place was absolutely perfect, the lads who were up in the two bed flat above came down and ate/socialised with us as there was loads of room. Super clean and everything supplied from a garlic press to cleaning stuff for the house.
Great owner to who genuinely went beyond the call to help us out.
Thoroughly recommend recommend!

For £650 for the week for 10 people and 2 dogs seems perfect.
30 miles to CyB, The Berwyn mountains are just down the road plus some nice looking road rides from the door. Hopefully get lap round nant yr arian on the way home too
