Workshop might be a bit grand but I'm sick of struggling to break chains with my chain tool that I keep in my camelbak and want something a bit more capable to keep at home.

Need to split singlespeed chains and regular 9 speed chains. Was looking at the Park ones (CT3) but it seems as though you need a different one for bmx type chains (CT7??) and skinny derailleur chains

I use one @ home & we have one in the workshop @ work, haven't found a chain that it can't split yet (BMX or geared).

The one in the workshop is at least 8 years old & mine is about 5 years old, both are still going strong.
