I want to be able to sit by daughter on the back of the bike but without a seat.

Is there some kind of rack that can take up to 25kg that I can put a wooden bench on kona ute style?

The bike is a 700c hybrid with 1.8inch tyres ie almost 29er sized.

Ha it should be ‘sit my daughter’ not by. 🙂

It seams in every country that’s not here kids just young kids just sit behind the rider holding onto their tee shirts….

Just done a school run, Topeak Super Tourist MTX rack carried my nine year old home, but he is skinny. Use hi-ten bolts if you can.

Stoner’s one scores extra points for looking a bit like a longboard.

Wouldn’t recommend your kid riding pillion aboard your bike.

Saw a bloke on his bike dawdling along the road, some drunk steps out from nowhere…

needless to say the bike flipped over at an astonishing speed, with the child seat (mounted behind the bikes saddle) being the first part of the bike to hit the tarmac hard.

Fortunate then that the cyclist left his child at home that day and both parties were left merely bruised and stunned.

Just like with motorbike accidents, the pillion ends up worse off than the ‘pilot’.

    I would consider an alternative.
