Bloke at work is after a new bike for short rides, as “the cyclist” I have been asked to recommend something suitable for £100 or so. I’ve suggested he might want to push his budget a bit to avoid buying something truly awful. I know second hand would be the best value but what could you get new for £200 or less?

£120 think they even do a cheaper one plus can try in the shop for size and pick up some shorts

end of season – any bike trail rentals nearby? seen the Peak one’s selling off very well maintained bikes at end of season
