  • Recommend me a BMX for a big 7 year old, please

    My youngest really wants to give BMX racing a go. I know nowt about BMX, but I’ve been told she probably needs an 18″ frame and wheels. I don’t want to spend much if I can help it, as it won’t be her main bike, and I don’t know if she’ll get the bug yet. Any suggestions?

    I don’t know anything about BMX racing but I think the clubs usually have a few bikes for kids to try out so you could try that?

    How tall is she.. Iirc if she is under 5ft then she’ll be more comfortable on 18″
    both my 9yr old and 7yr old are on 18″ bikes.
