    Started to build a little lean to shed.
    Got the frame pretty much done .
    Started to clad the outside with tongue and groove.
    Looking groovy.but doent like the screws that and they have a tendancy to split the wood.
    Looks like im going to have to nail it beung the lazy sod that i am
    Cany anyone recommend an air nailer doent want to go the paslode.makita cordless route too dear.
    Will a 18gauge bostick / bosch do or am i better with 15 or 16 gauge.i pressume a framing nailer will be to rough

    Let the man buy an automatic nail gun – you don’t need to justify that sort of purchase to anyone!!!

    Fair enough but I bet a hammer would be quicker and obviously cheaper (and yes I do know that’s not the point). 🙂

    Hammer will only be quicker if you include the time for the post to get his new nailer to him…

    Built several sheds over the years , wouldnt even entertain doing them for other people without my nailers. Hammering in nails for cladding gets old quick.

    I have hitachis gas over electric

    But i second hiring.
