IMO de la soul 3ft high, set rap back years. Loads of crappy filler and only bout 3 decent toons.

French rap is very good, a few years ago i did a turn with solaar. nice fella he was too (although him signing his uk distribution deal was at the xpense of my mates – who were dropped 🙁 )

I think PE and NWA are going to be familiar to most, the good thing about threads like this is they encourage you to check out stuff you’ve not heard before.

Just remembered a hip hop mix of quite accessible stuff that I did a few months back.

Haven’t put a tracklist because I’m a bit paranoid about being sued, but it includes Lootpack, KMD, MF Doom, Mr Lif, The Beatnuts, Main Source Diamond D, Showbiz and AG and a few funk tracks for good measure.
