Mountain equipment are good value, dont get some silly -30 one though. Mine's rated to -10 for extreme survival (10 degrees comfort) and it does fine unless there's snow outside.
The alpkit Skyehigh range look to be unbeatable in terms of value though.

I have a Skyhigh 800 and it's excellent for the cash (kept me very snug in a very lightweight tent at 4200m last year). Mine's the regular size and it fits perfectly – I'm 5'10" and quite thin. If I was any taller I'd want the large size, so that might be worth bearing in mind.

Marmot Helium is VERY warm for its weight.

    Pricey mind (£270), but quality.
