    so, can anyone recommend one of these gravel/cx bike kind of races. ideally up north or 1-2 hours drive from Manchester

    theres the north west cyclocross league. thats about it. the dirty reiver in kielder forest? there are some cx ‘sportive type rides too. think cycling weekly organise those

    Just go to the BC website and find the Yorkshire CX league.

    I dont mean regular cyclocross.

    I’m looking for these long distance off road race / sportifs

    There are usually a few sportive type of things happening somewhere in the Pennines but I’ve not seen one organised for next year yet.

    Dave P will be the man who’ll know what’s going on. Especially if it involves riding a bike for a huge amount of distance.
