I’ve borrowed a couple of Dremels recently, and found them really useful for bodging stuff. Time to get my own.
Is it worth getting a Dremel, or are there better (value-for-money)manufacturers around?
    Anyone seen any bargain kits?

Just bought a dremel 300 for £40 from Argos and a 400 piece tool set for Maplin £20.

I have two B&D Wizards. A mains powered one that’s still going strong after 9 years, but my battery one, the batteries died and I never replaced them as they were obscenely expensive.

You can get cheap kits sometimes in Aldi, or look in Boyes.

I have to admit I rarely use the tool for much more than cutting bike cables/outers. They are a man-tool that is very attractive at first glance, but sits on the shelf gathering dust tbh.
