My rear wheel is noisy whenever it goes over rough stuff. It doesn’t seem to effect anything but it’s annoying especially on a descent when it makes a mega racket. It makes a loud noise every time it hits anything.

I’ve took it to a mechanical for wheel bearing replacement, tightened the cassette, tightened the spokes (as there were a few loose). Still not made a difference.

I notice at around the same time my rear wheel has stopped ‘ticking’ when free wheeling – I don’t know if this could be related ?

Anyone know what the cause could be ?

The bike is a Specialized Camber Evo 2015

With out seeing it is hard to diagnose but my guess would be bearings in the freehub or the hub itself.

The leak of ticking suggests its probably the freehub
