I have very little experience of rear wheels and hubs. I need to buy one for new build and don’t know where to start. I don’t want to spend the earth but want a decentish wheel I can buy new online and fit before the wknd…

Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received.

What is rear maxle? Is that 12mm bolt through? If so Pro2 is obvious choice.

If you need one, I have a Pro2 12×135 rear axle, and a DT Swiss 240S 12×135 axle both to sell.

Pro 2’s a bad choice- Pro 2 Evo would be good though. Old Pro 2 likes to snap axles when used with a maxle (does so very quickly with a tapered old design maxle lite or similiar, I’ve done 2 with full thickness axles though)

Yes it’s the 12mm job, but I already have the axles thanks. Its a full rear wheel build I need now.
