Hi guys. Just wondering if any of you could help.
Ive just purchased a 2012 giant x3 just yo see me through winter but it seems the rear shock is leaking air and fluid.
I have no idea how to size a rear shock up.
Does anyone know what size I need for this particular bike.
Also. Can this shock be repaired and how much would we be talking
    Thanks guys

Measuring: measure the distance between the centers of the shock mount bolts, thus is the eye to eye distance. Then let all the air out and fully compress the shock. Measure the eye to eye again. Take the second number from the first to get the stroke. Shocks are sized as [i2i] x stroke. Eg 200×51

Sounds like you just need a seal replacement and air can service. £30 + parts (25) Should cover it.

Can’t help, but I guess one question you’ll get asked , will be : Anthem or Trance ?

Can most bike mechanics service shocks or will it have to be a specialist like push or mojo ?
