    Hi all

Anyone have any experience of RC boats and a recommendation of a god one for my 5 year old? He tried one out recently and really enjoyed it.

Run times seem low on some and the higher speeds – although fun for dad – may be a bit much.

    Any advice would be great.

    Sailing or Power?

Sailing, then try the Laser RC big enough to handle and have fun with or there are many mini 6mtr replicas around, try one of the model RC websites..

No quite a boat, but it is slow and easy to control, there are lots of fast RC boats about, but seem to be nothing suitable for young’uns. a small pond or paddling pool will do for this. You can get water squirting versions, rather than the BB.
