Harry the Spider and binners have both been shafted* by their babysitters and can no longer make this ride. Can anybody else lead this one out this Saturday morning?

If we do the following week, then the floods might have subsided. Its going to be bloody boggy up there this week. Its put A LOT of water down. And there’s no sign of it stopping. Its absolutely chucking it down again!!

I’ll be riding a version of the route on Saturday regardless, the time of day is the issue for me.

The route is in the main weatherproof, I wouldn’t do the woods in the rain nor pilgrims cross but there are plenty of options

route should be fine (apart from pilgrims cross moorland & woodland) the rest is hard ground (and cobbles up along the turbines)

Right, as I’ve let you all down (well, my mum has to tell the truth by buggering off to Ibiza) this needs a bit of direction otherwise it will end up in chaos.

weather will not stop the ride

leaders pace will be slow and wheezing uphill and mincing downhill, route will be based on that discussed in main thread with adaptations for the weather (ie no hike-a-bike or soaking wet roots)
