    The weather outlook . com

Put in your postcode top left. Above this click ‘rain radar’. Then lower right click ‘unlocked’, this lets you zoom in and move around with the thingy top left.

Light the BBQ if you want a huuuuge thunderstorm.

Weather forecast UK is pretty high on features. It’s become my go to weather app, but it does do any alarms, just the radar map

Had rain of biblical proportions over the last few hours in Liverpool. An hour after it started the yahoo weather app sent me an alert saying it would rain in 15 mins.

Might want to swerve the yahoo one…

I use Rain Today. It provides T+2.5hr Doppler sweep. £25 a year well spent.

Well initial thoughts are it looks good so I will try it out over the next week. Being a window cleaner it could be very handy.

MeteoEarth is brilliant – same company as Weather Pro but with brilliant animated maps that seem pretty accurate. Good on the iPhone, even better on a bigger tablet device.
