    I thought it should be a single 1mm either side, but no spacers in packaging and no mention of spacers in instructions. Currently searching google….

    ^^ he’s right. All BS thread road BBs are 68mm, Italian are all 70mm. Spacers never required with a road chainset.

    That will explain no spacers in packaging. Google brings back loads of stuff, with conflicting info. Will try without.
