    I know, a tyre question 🙄

What’s good, light and fast for a mainly road commute – bit of gravel/rough track thrown in but not much. I was given some Michelin wildgripper city’s 1.5″ a couple of years ago, ok but not that light, so been using them but got a slash from flint on an undercliff track a while ago so now avoid that bit of the route but think it might be wise to get some new one’s soon? should I go for 1″ tyres, would they be ok for the odd bit of rough or stick to something a like 1.5″ ?

I know a road bike would be a better choice but sometimes I go a slightly different way to avoid traffic so it gets a bit rough sometimes.

    🙂

Yeah, looked at those, I’m trawling through CRC to see what they’ve got and read reviews. I’ve got some hybrid type MTB tyres on at the mo but they’re a bit draggy and making it hard work.
