  • Quick question: Cannock Chase, Hopton Woods or Forest of Dean?

    Heading down to Hereford for a wedding this weekend and have chance to squeeze a ride in on the way down. Closest places to our route look to be Hopton, Cannock and Forest of Dean. Any recommendations? usual riding spot for us is the Tweedvalley. Don’t mind a pedally trail as long as the descents are fun. Thoughts?

    FOD has some pretty technical descents, but the climbs are a bit meh. The verders trail is quite fun though.

    Hopton would get my vote. Its more natural feeling than the other two and much better riding up and down.
