What are my “Host” and “Username” settings for logging into my site at fasthosts using filezilla 3.3.5.1?

Ive tried ft p.xxx.co.uk and then xxx.co.uk as the user name, but no joy.

thats what fasthosts give as “FTP hostname” and “FTP username”

If it’s any help, for my webspace on filezilla, I have host as ‘ftp.clubber.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk’ and user as ‘clubber’

Is this where you got your info from?

have you tried the host as ‘ftp.livedns.co.uk’ rather than your domain name?

thats an old version of filezilla but ive tried to use similar settings to log in with the latest version.

Will try again with just “clubber” then…

Had the same with our website at work a while back (on Clara) – stupid that they don’t enable both.
